London, here I am back!
This sunny week-end was a perfect one to walk London.
I discovered Spitafields Market and Brick Lane, an amazing place for vintage fashion lovers.
On regent street, I was stupefied by the number of sewing machines in a store named "All Saints"... and there are stores all around... with again... hundred and hundred of machines! AMAZING!
and at Oxfam on Marylebone High Street, I found for only £ 4.50 the latest edition of Simplicity "Simply the Best Sewing Book" (August 2011). I love the section "understanding patterns"... All you ever wanted to know about what you don't understand while reading patterns. I already found myself wondering what this little circles are... or what this line stands for...
At Waterstones on Oxford Street, I found a nice book from Isabel Sanchez Martinez, "The Little black dress": this book shows you how to create the patterns to make many variations of the Little Black Dress (LBD).
